I have so much faith in America again. This is the change we have been looking for. Today has just been a mind blowing piece of history. I'm so lucky I was blessed to be part of this election. There's so much to say for a country electing their first African-American President. America I am so proud of you. I couldn't actually be part of the inauguration celebration in D.C. but watching it on TV, I feel just as excited as those people who were lucky to be there. This is history. This is amazing. This is what America needs. I'm not one for politics but this is something I'm never going to forget.

I picked up Janet last night and we braved the cold to head out and find something crafty. We couldn't find anything that suited our needs. (The closest thing we could find was getting a bag of gummy bears and sticking them to our faces...lets save that for the Canada trip in April)

Speaking of which, we got the clear to go to Toronto in April. I'm super stoked for this. It's going to be like the Chicago trip all over again. We totally talked Fly into taking us to Medieval Times again. There's a rumor going around saying that we are going to see the Sound Of Music for our musical but I don't know...I love musicals just as much as the next theater geek but I'm not to fond of that one. But then again I really wasn't stoked to see Wicked and as it turns out, I fell in love with it and it happens to be MY FAVORITE musical of all times, next to RENT and Avenue Q....

School resumes tomorrow. Second Semester starts. It's definitely around 15 weeks left of school before Graduation or something like that. I'm probably completely off but thats cool. So many amazing things are coming up for me.

-DI Competition (Regionals and hopefully states and globals)
-Canada Trip
-Columbus Trip for Cosmetology (I'm taking my state board test this same weekend in May)
-Last day of high school EVER!!!!!!!
-Graduation at E.J. Thomas Hall
-Road Trip this summer with Janet, Aleah, Taylor and Myself. Texas, California and Las Vegas here we come!!!!
